Between June 2020 and July 2021 the school district saved $356,980 on energy costs and since the beginning of the energy savings initiative in June 2019 the district has saved $570,001.

Jasper County School District continues to complete scheduled capital projects, as planned. The following capital projects are underway and will continue until completion:
1.) JCAP Parking Lot and Athletic Stadium,
2.) Ridgeland Campus Temporary Wall Repairs,
3.) District Office (Security Delivery for Campuses),
4.) Preparing for Bids regarding Replacement of all Water Fountains and Boiler Specifications (HES, HRMS, RES, RHHS).
We will continue to keep our stakeholders apprised of our capital projects improvements and progress.

The JCSD District Strategic Planning Committee is working to finalize our vision and mission statements that will correspond with the strategic plan for the next five years. The vision statement speaks to what we aspire for the future for our scholars. The mission statement speaks to what we will do to reach the vision.
