December 14, 2021 (Jasper, S.C.) - At its regular monthly board meeting, Jasper County School District Board of Trustees voted to extend a mask mandate for all staff, students, and visitors for an additional thirty (30) days, effective Monday, December 13, 2021, thru January 12, 2022.

The board will review the mask mandate in thirty days.

They have been honored for the 15th year-in-a-row by the Government Finance Officers Association.

The Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting is the highest form of national recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting. Receiving this award represents a significant accomplishment by the School District, whose 2020 CAFR has been judged by an impartial panel to meet the high standards of the program.
