You are invited to submit a sealed bid for two campus demolitions projects including but not limited to: the existing buildings, utilities and site paving.

Jasper County School District’s Board of Education, Superintendent, Administrators, Faculty, and Staff would like to extend a hearty, “Thank you!” to our Transportation Team! Their commitment to our district and students has been unwavering as they have endured and weathered the storm, daily!

Due to the steady rainfall we’ve experienced yesterday and today, some roads may be closed in the county or have standing water. For the safety of all, our bus drivers will not drive buses through standing water or attempt to turn around in areas where it is unsafe to operate the bus. As a result, you are asked to transport your child(ren) to and from school in the areas where it is unsafe for our buses to travel.

The football game today versus Battery Creek has been cancelled due to weather and field conditions.

Any patrons that purchased tickets online for Ridgeland-Hardeeville High School will have their tickets honored at the next home game which will be on Oct. 15th.

The Jaguar Football Program will travel to Pelion on Friday for a 7:30 game time.

Teachers across Jasper County School District used their friday to engage in a Kagan Professional Development Workshop. They used the time to sharpen their student- engagement strategies using Kagan Structures. Kagan Structures are research-based instructional strategies that have a track record of improving academic achievement and social outcomes.

We appreciate our community's history, heritage, and contributions of the ancestors of American citizens who came from Mexico. Spain, the Caribbean, and South and Central America. We celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month to recognize the achievements of Hispanic American champions who have inspired others to achieve success.
