We are pleased to announce that ALL Jasper County Schools have officially been named Unified Champion Schools!

Today, Wednesday, September 28, 2022, is the last day of intersession for students and staff. All after-school activities are cancelled.
The varsity football game v/s Wade Hampton High will be played tonight, Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at Wade Hampton.
The volleyball game scheduled for Thursday, September 29, 2022 is cancelled.
Our schools and district office will be closed for business and will not resume regular operations until Monday, October 3, 2022, unless otherwise noted.
Any announcements regarding school closures will be announced via www.jcsd.net, JCSD's social media platforms, local news media outlets, and emergency management divisions shared by the district's public information officer, Mr. Travis Washington.

Our Ridgeland Elementary School first grade scholars worked through the Japer County School District Science Curriculum document utilizing the new South Carolina 2021 Science standards to create their first nine weeks STEM project! Students worked through the Engineering Design process to design a home with a sturdy structure that could withstand inclement weather during their favorite season. Throughout this unit, students learned why the Earth tilts, why we have seasons, comparisons between day and night, sky patterns, and what happens during the seasons.
