About Mrs. Nyrita L. Austin
I'm the Global Career Development Facilitator for Jasper County Alternative Program (JCAP). I have worked for the Jasper County School District since 2009. I worked as the Pregnancy Prevention Coordinator, Student Concern Specialist, SC GEAR UP Graduation Coach, Parent Liaison, and now as the Career Facilitator. Prior to coming to the school district, I worked at the Department of Juvenile Justice for four years and Family Resources Genesis Home for Boys in Bluffton for two years. I'm a certified Global Career Development Facilitator. I look forward to working with you and helping you to be successful.
I have a Bachelor of Criminal Justice and a Master of Public Administration from Savannah State University. I enjoy working with children and helping them to determine which career cluster they will pursue. I have one son named Jayden (see him below).
