JCSD Makes Plans to Host In-Person Graduation for the Ridgeland-Hardeeville High School Class of 2021

Jasper County School District makes plans to host an in-person graduation ceremony for the Ridgeland-Hardeeville High School Graduating Class of 2021.

Ridgeland-Hardeeville High School Graduation is planned for Friday, June 4, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. The district will adhere to the following safety protocols for all attendees: Social Distancing 6 ft. apart, Masks will be required, Temperature Check Stations will be utilized, and seating will be limited (invitation only).

Further details regarding the venue and other information will be announced later.

Great news from JCSD's Finance Team! Join us as we commend our leaders on the finance team for their efforts. During the Feb. 8th School Board meeting, an independent audit team presented the JCSD Financial Audit Presentation for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2020. 

SOME HIGHLIGHTS: 
❗️JCSD received an 'Unmodified Opinion on Financial Statements,' the highest possible response a district can get during the audit. 
❗️There were no 'financial statement findings' in the audit this year. 
❗️Our 'Unassigned Fund Balance' increased by $2.3 Million growing the unassigned fund balance to $12.7 Million. 
❗️JCSD is in 'Good Financial Condition as of June 30, 2020'

JCSD Superintendent Selected to Serve on Coastal Carolina Hospital Governing Board

Congratulations to our very own superintendent, Dr. Rechel
M. Anderson. Dr. Anderson was selected to serve as a member of the Coastal Carolina Hospital Governing Board. The hospital board of directors’ role is to serve as the governing body of the hospital. The board is responsible for oversight of the hospital, and ultimately responsible for Quality and Patient Safety. We commend our superintendent in her continued efforts of service to the community, and we look forward to her continued commitment in service.
