Hardeeville Junior & Senior High School Boys' Week
Hardeeville Junior & Senior High School held its first annual Boys' Week this week. The purpose of the week is to educate and empower our male students as they strive to develop purposeful lives. The theme for the week is: "Stand Up, Man Up: Men Talk Business.
There were three guest speakers: Mr. Tyrae Simmons, Mr. Tony Gray, and Mr. Heath Lloyd.
Mr. Simmons owns Transformation Fitness and is a past student of West Hardeeville Elementary and Ridgeland-Hardeeville High School. The title of his speech was "Building a Business: From Nothing to Everything". Mr. Gray is the manager at Queensborough Bank in Pooler, GA. He empowered our boys by sharing financial wisdom under the title, "So You Have a Business/ Idea, Now What? Mr. Heath, Asst. City Manager of Savannah, worked to educate our boys on the importance of self-care under the title, "Wellness in Business: Taking care of the Man."
