DARE Program at RES

Our DARE program is currently heading into week 3 of the 10-week program at Ridgeland Elementary School. Our DARE instructors are Staff Sergeant Sons and Sgt. Ashby of the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office, currently School Resource Officers. They look forward to the coming weeks of teaching the 5th-grade students about the dangers of drugs and what to do if they encounter them in the real world. D.A.R.E. Stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education.
