Important Safety Update from Hardeeville Elementary School
Earlier today, the fire department was on campus as a precautionary measure. A staff member accidentally made contact with the fire alarm panel, causing the protective case to dislodge. Following our safety protocols, the fire department was immediately notified and responded to ensure the building was safe and secure.
✅ There was no fire or emergency, and all students and staff remained safe throughout the process.
We appreciate your understanding and support as we continue to prioritize the safety and well-being of our school community. If you have any questions, please contact the school office.

Learning Through Creativity in Mrs. Taylor-Parnell’s Class!
Last week, students in Mrs. Taylor-Parnell’s fifth-grade math and science class participated in a series of fun, hands-on activities to strengthen their measurement skills.
On Tuesday, students worked in pairs using centimeter rulers to measure various pictures. After recording their measurements, they colored each image to complete the assignment—an engaging way to combine math with creativity and teamwork.
The learning continued with a lively “Metric System Fashion Show”! Each student proudly wore a word representing a unit of measure from the metric system, turning the classroom into a runway of learning. This interactive activity helped reinforce their understanding of metric units in a fun and memorable way.
The students showed great enthusiasm and focus throughout the week, proving that learning can be both educational and exciting!

Jasper County School District Announces Partnership with Real Champions, Inc.
Jasper County School District is excited to announce a new partnership with Real Champions, Inc., an organization dedicated to becoming trusted advocates for children by establishing long-term relationships that lead them to greater opportunities in life, school, and work. Real Champions is not a typical mentoring organization — they pay their mentors so that they can devote full time (40 hours per week) to working with the children they serve.
