The Jasper County School District is fortunate to have a fantastic team of school nurses. We want to express our gratitude for their intelligence, patience, time, and compassion. We appreciate them protecting and strengthening the lives of our children and for creating a safe and healthy learning environment for them. We appreciate our nursing staff for always being there for our children and making a positive impact on their lives. Their dedication is felt across Jasper County and deeply appreciated.
JCSD is excited about Teacher Appreciation Week and is looking forward to celebrating with our teachers and staff! We want to highlight and appreciate all of our amazing employees, not just our teachers, because at JCSD, we truly value everyone on our team.
We invite everyone to join us in celebrating excellence!
We are very excited that one of our very own leaders, Dr. Stephanie Hart, will be sharing as a panel guest at the Women in Leadership Series sponsored by the SC Alliance of Black School Educators. Dr. Hart leads our CATE Center and is the force behind our district’s many CTE Completers.
In the coming days, if you have a child in kindergarten, your child will bring home an ID Kit. This kit is yours to keep and is at no cost to you.
In 2022, the South Carolina General Assembly unanimously passed S.1103. The legislation codified the South Carolina Child ID Program as a partnership between the Attorney General and the Department of Education to protect children.
As a result, you will be receiving an inkless, at-home child ID kit. This kit should take less than 10 minutes to complete, never enter a database, and should be stored solely by you, as a parent or guardian, in a cool, dry, safe place at home.
